BASIC PRINCIPLES OF MICROCREDIT PROGRAM |

At the moment of the concession of the sums previewed from the
microcredit plan, AMKA
makes to underwrite the beneficiary, personally and collectively,
the following principles which it will have to adhere itself for
all the period of collaboration with the Association:
1. We will respect and apply the
fundamental principles of AMKA:
UMOJA-KAZI-MAENDELEO (Solidariety-Work-Development) |
| 2.
We will reimburse the credit received at the agreed moment |
| 3.
We will give an education to our sons and will create the resources
necessary to support their education |
| 4.
We will take care of our sons and the atmosphere that encircles
us |
| 5.
We will construct and use new hygienic services |
| 6.
We will be always ready to go in aid of the others. If a person
of the group will have of the difficulties in reimbursing its
debts, we will help him |
| 7.
We will always realize new investments collectively in order
to improve the living conditions in our area (e.g. flour mills,
wells, sports fields, etc.) |
| 8.
We will participate to activities of collective interest (maintenance
of the campaign roads, construction of schools or centers of
health, management of wells etc) |
| 9.
We will not live anymore in destroyed houses |
| 10.
We will cultivate fruit trees in our gardens |
| 11.
We will operate for the urbanization of our villages |
| 12.
We will choose to resolve our disputes in a pacific way |
