AMKA onlus is an organization founded with the objective to realize, in responsible way, plans of development in the countries of the south of the world, starting with the Democratic Republic of Congo. This engagement for the solidarity north-south is based on the conviction that the emancipation from the misery and the poverty cannot only depend on programs of aid and subsidies coming from the richer countries.

The chosen instruments are:
	Advising and accompanying of the population
	Support to microenterprise
	Education of the person
	Health care

It must be based on the start of self-development activities that can stimulate, in economic field as well, virtuous circuits within everyone can "produce yield" and gain access to goods and to the essential services.

First concrete engagement choosen by AMKA operating structure consists in the spread of information and personal direct testimonies which help everybody to better understand the world's southern countries situation and to be responsible of our own lifestyle.

AMKA becomes part of already existing no-profit initiatives: critical consumption, campaigns of boycotting and denunce, proposals of alternative economy (equal trade, ethical finance, local economy nets, etc).

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, AMKA is engaged in a plan of integrated development projects to accompany population in the realization of plans finalized to offer economical and social autonomy to local communities.
